The Hunger Games: Catching Fire stills released 01/09/13
I’m not excited. I just see the things on my dash. Haha! It sparked some interest. I think I’ll watch it.
(Due to significant amount of YA novels turning into movies, I’m starting to lose interest in them. I don’t know whyyyyy … )

FONTS USED:
Major - Verner (through/end), Amperzand (grey text), MK British Writing (quotation marks)
Minor - AvantGarde Bk BT (The Hunger Games/Suzanne Collins), Lobster Two (my Tumblr URL)The colors used are inspired by the book covers, I didn’t want to use black so I used gold instead for The Hunger Games, the orange for Catching Fire and blue for Mockingjay. And I think the colors blended well.

I LOVE LETTERPRESS. Real or digital, doesn’t matter as long as it’s good. And while I bask in the beauty of letterpress designs, I wanted to make a graphic letterpress. I didn’t know what do actually, so I made it up as I went along.
I Googled inspirational quotes from The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins and found this one. It was in the second book and was said by Greasy Sae from the Hob at District 12. :D
I just noticed I never did make any artsy-fartsy stuff for one of my favorite books. I promised myself that I will way back when and forgot about it. And now I did! :D
Anyway, I was staring at the French bread (baguette) on the top and I was wondering if it looks like hotdogs. LOL. Making the berries on top killed me. No pun intended. At least the branches looked like branches. The clock on the side though, it’s faceless. I’m skeptical about that, but I used the arrow of the Mockingjay to make the clock hands.
To end my blabbering…
I just want everyone out there to know that you have to go through a lot of things to get to the very end. Every obstacle is going to test you, your skills, your patience, and whatever else there is to test. It’s a part of life, it’ll help you grow.
