I don’t understand why anyone would resort to this method to train a puppy or any sort of animal. He’s lucky that the dog didn’t bite him since it’s more than willing to learn and make its master proud. Ugh. What a sick bastard.

I am seriously outraged right now. I went into school today and was sent to the principal’s office not even 5 minutes inside the building. I was asked if I had any other clothes with me to which I responded I did not and was told I would NOT be sent to my classes if I didn’t call someone to come bring me clothes.
I refused.
I told her that my mother is the only one who lives with me and that she was at work and could not come bring me clothes.
To which she responded
“Well I’m not sending you to your classes like that, you can come into my office and do some work but unless we get a parental figure to come bring you clothes you will not be going to class, it’s too much of a distraction and offensive to your fellow students.”
excuse me but what is so offensive about my shorts. I have worn this outfit numerous times during the school year, and only now that it has started to get nice outside have they been stricter on what the girls in this high school wear.

The office called my mom and told her that “my way of dressing could be offensive or distracting to the students and most importantly, the teachers.”
I’m a junior in high school, but just because i’m a junior does NOT MEAN I WILL STAND FOR YOUR BULLSHIT SLUT-SHAMING AND SEXIST DRESS CODE.
Instead of telling the girls to feel victimized and shamed for what they wear, like tell your shitty staff to stop being such perverts and to look away and seriously, if they have such issues with my clothing that they can’t help themselves then why are you allowed to be a teacher in the first place.
My body is not something to be ashamed of, and I will not “change” to fit into your shit society of misogynistic ideals.

A lot of the animals PETA kills (and they kill over 95% of the animals they take in at their Virginia Headquarters) are killed within 24 hours. Not nearly enough time to deem whether an animal is adoptable or not. They even bought a giant fridge to store the corpses!
PETA is a corporation. Not a charity. Less than 1% of their 32 Million+ annual budget actually goes to directly helping animals. Most of it is spent making sexist/racist/ domestic abuse supporting commercials that won’t even air on television, giving bail outs to convicted arsonists and criminals, hiring/supporting any celebrity that claims to be vegetarian for five minutes, creating campaigns to target children (“Your mom kills animals”), fruitless lawsuits like suing Sea World for violating the constitution, and most recently, making porn. I’m not against porn, but I fail to see how it fucking helps animals.
PETA does not give a shit about animals.

He knew Akian, who has autism, to be mild-mannered and sensitive, and had a hunch that something more was going on. But after several meetings with a team of school officials created to help special-needs students, nothing changed. So Chaifetz did what any concerned parent would do.
On the morning of Friday, February 17, 2012, I wired my son and sent him to school. That night, when I listened to the audio my life changed forever. I heard my son being bullied by his teacher and aide. The six and a half hours of audio I had proved that my son wasn’t hitting the teacher because there was something wrong with him — he was lashing out because he was being mocked, mistreated and humiliated. His outbursts were his way of expressing that he was being emotionally hurt at school.
The New Jersey father has since launched a website full of damning evidence and a Facebook page, and he is petitioning the state to change legislation so that teachers who bully children are immediately fired. The aide has been fired, but the rest of the staff have merely been relocated.
“I seek a full and public apology from all those adults who were in my son’s class for what they did to him,” Chaifetz says. “It is also far past time that these issues are allowed to be hidden from public view.”

If you guys haven’t already heard (my followers already have, and I’m tagging to spread awareness) - there are some 200 clinics in Ecuador right now that are using torture and rape as a ways of rehabilitating lesbian women. They may be possibly doing it to gay men too. If you could just take literally twenty seconds out of your day to sign the All Out campaign, it would be so, so helpful.
The goal right now is 50,000 online signatures and we are currently at 32,185. The people of Ecuador are going to deliver the letter with the signatures directly to the president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa’s, office.
That being said, if you could just take another twenty seconds to sign this one too, that would be beyond fantastic.
